That's why proper storage in a dry place with controlled temperature is important, because moisture can cause it to spoil and reduce its quality. Too high a temperature can cause deformation or melting of wood pellets, while too low a temperature can cause cracking. The ideal storage temperature is between 5°C and 20°C. For the storage of larger quantities, it is important to provide good ventilation, in order to prevent the retention of moisture. Good air circulation helps to preserve quality.
